Learn to safely ride a horse and about the care and anatomy of horses, including grooming a horse and caring for the saddle and bridle. Participants demonstrate knowledge by riding a horse & using a variety of skills. When its nap time for the horses, explore the remarkable complexity of a forest and identify many species of trees and plants and the roles they play in a forest’s life cycle. Discover some of the resources forests provide to humans; come to understand that people have a very large part to play in sustaining the health of forests.
