All Scouts taking Canoeing merit badge class need to complete requirement #9: exit and re-enter a canoe in deep water, perform a controlled capsize, push a swamped canoe to swallow water and re-enter, and rescue a swamped canoe & paddlers in deep water.

These requirements, as well as requirement #2: a BSA swimmer test, will be done on Sunday, April 8, 3:30–5:30 pm at the Watertown Boys & Girls Club, 25 Whites Ave. in Watertown.
